Asana
Asana’s free plan, Asana Personal, allows 2 seats per project and team. The legacy Personal plan, with up to 10 seats, is being phased out. Asana has published no date for the phase-out. A team of 3 or more can cut each project and team to 2 people, pay for Asana Starter, or move to another tool.

Asana Personal allows up to 2 seats per project and team. A team on Personal can have at most 2 people. The legacy Personal plan allowed up to 10 seats. Asana says the legacy plan is being phased out, and accounts on it may be asked to upgrade or meet the 2-seat limit.
A project with more than 2 people locks. Asana’s message reads: “You can remove members or upgrade to continue using this project.”
Asana’s help page gives no date for the phase-out. On 1 October 2026, someone on Asana’s forum reported an in-app banner about the change. On 2 October, an Asana moderator replied that the banner is “the current source of truth”. The moderator gave no date and sent them to Asana Support for timing on their account.
If you have seen 15 October 2026 given as the start date, check it against the banner in your own workspace. Asana has not published that date.
