To ensure that your project planning has all the necessary data related to vacations and public holidays, Teamhood offers Time off management functionality. Time off events are excluded from the item schedule, the same way as weekends.
Time off events are very useful when:
⚠️ Newly added time off events do not affect item schedules until someone reschedules/updates the item. This is mainly to prevent large-scope data changes in case of user error / accidental mistakes.
You can find Time off settings by clicking on your user avatar and selecting “Time Off”.

When creating time off events. Users can choose what type of event it is by selecting to which users it applies.

Company-level time off events should be created when you need to capture public holidays or the whole company’s absence from project work. Such events will affect all workspaces and all users.
⚠️ Only account owners can add or edit company-wide time off events.

Any user can add their own personal time off. Just be sure to have “For me” selected when creating such events. Personal time off events affect only items assigned to you.

If more than one user but not everyone in the company shares the same time off event, you can create a single entry and pick the ones who should be affected by this time off.
