Compact Mode for Gantt View

In the Teamhood version 1.89, you will notice quite a few changes geared towards the Gantt view users. All of which are designed to make planning and executing your projects in Gantt that much easier.

The first change you will notice is the compact mode. Use it to minimize the item details on the left side of your screen and fully focus on the schedule and dependencies. Especially useful for smaller screens or larger projects, this will allow you to review plans with more ease.

Editable Item Duration in Gantt View

To make planning easier, we have also added the option to enter the duration of each item instead of specific start and end dates. Choose how long each item should take and plan with confidence.

Once you enter or adjust the duration, Teamhood will adjust that item’s start and end dates to fit it. Weekends are excluded for the duration automatically.

Yearly Scale for the Gantt View

To oversee long-term plans, you can now select the Yearly scale. This will be especially useful for those working with large and interdependent projects that take longer than a few months.

Option to Narrow the Title Column in Gantt View

Lastly, you can now, customize the width of the item’s title column. Just like with the item field columns, use your cursor to drag the width according to your preference.

Cover Images for Kanban Cards

While this is a Gantt-heavy release, we also do have a nice addition for the Kanban users – cover images for Kanban cards. All you have to do is add the image to the item details and then select it as the cover image. Use it to categorize your items, add references to the work within, or liven up your Kanban board.

By the way, you can use GIFs as covers too!
