Online Gantt chart maker
Plan the project on a timeline. Link dependencies, see the critical path and compare the plan with a baseline.

Teamhood is project management software with Kanban, Gantt and timesheets. Its Gantt chart links dependencies that reschedule the work behind them. It draws the critical path, shows the float of each item in working days and compares the plan with a saved baseline. You can import an existing plan from Microsoft Project.
1. Add the work
2. Link dependencies
3. Check the plan
An arrow between two bars is a real dependency. Move a task and the tasks after it move with it. Parent rows group their child tasks.

Turn on the critical path to mark the tasks with no float. Save a baseline and compare today’s dates with it.

Run the daily work on a board. The board and the Gantt chart show the same items, so a change in one view shows in the other.

Log hours against the same tasks you planned on the Gantt chart.
Capacity planning uses the same items, so you can see who has time before you commit them to a task.

Already have a plan in Microsoft Project? Import the XML file. Teamhood keeps the outline, dates, all 4 dependency types, notes and assigned people.
Starting from scratch? Build a work breakdown structure on a mind map first. The same tasks then show on the Gantt chart.
An Excel or Google Sheets template works for a chart you make once and send. A Gantt chart maker is the better choice when the plan changes and several people update it. Dependencies move the later tasks for you, and everyone sees the same plan.
